Electric car manufacturer, Tesla Motors, has recently opened its first international Superchargers. Tesla’s Superchargers allow a Tesla battery to be halfway recharged in one hour. The Supercharger network is important tool to eliminate the range anxiety that many people experience with electric cars. Tesla plans to continue its rapid expansion of its Supercharger network. How is Walmart fighting high electricity costs? Solar Power!

The Walmart Solar Energy Initiative Walmart, our nation's largest retailer, ranked first on the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) list of U.S. companies based on their installed solar energy capacity. Walmart has the capacity to produce 65,000 kW of solar power or enough to power 10,000 home.
